EIDOLON
ʌɪˈdəʊlɒn/

noun
literary
  1. an idealized person or thing, mental image, apparition
  2. a spirit-image of a living or dead person; a shade or phantom look-alike of the human form.
  3. an apparition of some actual or imaginary entity, or of some aspect of reality.

In 2060, the human soul is formed out of accumulated actions, our online data. This data is transmittable, therefore, death is the continuation of the data into the next context. Death has become active, not passive. Eidolon embodies the emotional relationships, modes of grief and rituals shaped by the ability to share your life with your deceased loved ones and ancestors from multiple generations.
